01Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Tech Tribe Academy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts to bypass paid access is prohibited.
03Free and Paid Content
We offer free, fundamentals-level lessons and paid premium courses. Paid courses grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access the purchased content for your own learning use. Redistribution, resale, or public sharing of paid course content (including videos, PDFs, and source code) is strictly prohibited.
04Payments & Refunds
Payments for paid courses are processed securely via Flutterwave. All sales are final: we do not offer refunds once a paid course has been successfully purchased and access granted. Please review course details carefully before purchasing.
05Referral Program
- Users may share a unique referral link to invite others to join the platform.
- A commission is earned only when a referred user successfully purchases a paid course.
- Commission rates are set at our discretion and may change at any time; the rate applicable to a purchase is the one in effect when that purchase occurs.
- Commissions are paid manually to the bank details you provide in your account settings. You are responsible for ensuring these details are accurate.
- We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commissions found to result from fraudulent, abusive, or self-referral activity.
06Learning Progress, XP & Leaderboard
Features such as watch-time tracking, XP, streaks, badges, and the leaderboard are provided for motivational purposes. We may adjust scoring rules, reset leaderboard periods, or modify these features at any time without prior notice.
07Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that: violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent referral activity, attempt to redistribute paid content, or remain inactive for an extended period. Deleting an account permanently removes associated data, including learning progress and referral history.
08Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or admin systems
- Use automated tools to manipulate watch-time, quiz results, or referral counts
- Upload or share harmful, illegal, or infringing content via the platform
09Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Tribe Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10Governing Law
These Terms are governed primarily by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Users accessing the Service from other jurisdictions do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
11Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
